Grants are awarded by the Porter County Community Foundation to nonprofit organizations that serve Porter County. Nonprofit organizations may submit grant applications according to the grant guidelines.

Porter County Community Fund
The Foundation seeks to enhance the quality of life in Porter County by providing funds through an open grant making process for humanitarian, cultural, educational and environmental purposes. Grants through this process are awarded two times each year.
Women’s Fund of Porter County
The Women’s Fund of Porter County seeks to fund programs or projects that address the needs and opportunities that support the Fund’s purpose of improving the quality of life for our community’s women and children of all ages and must be sustainable.
Porter Health & Wellness Grant
Due to a unique opportunity presented to the Foundation, the grant monies for 2012 from the Porter Health & Wellness Fund have been committed by the Board of Directors. The next available grant application opportunity will be in 2013. The Grant Guidelines for 2013 will be posted in December 2012. Professional Development
The Foundation offers Professional Development Grants to bring in a consultant to work directly with your organization or for staff members and volunteers of nonprofit organizations to attend conferences, courses and trainings related to the applicant’s position and agency’s mission.
Emergency Grant Requests
The Foundation will consider emergency grants at any time during the year.
